Here are the updates I made for this week for the Group Project game: Of Whom We Hold Dear.
Prompt the player what item/letter they can interact with
Previously the player was not aware of what they would be able to interact with, nor that the letters were of significance. Therefore we needed to create a way for the player to know what was significant, which I went with highlighting objects when the player hovers the crosshair over.
Finding out what sounds to use
We need to make a lot of sound effects for our game, for example ambience and piano music pieces will be needed throughout. For next week I’ll be making a list of the sound clips needed and appropriate sound for it.
